ABOUT USARMAN MARTINEZ, Chief Executive Officer
Mr Martinez presently owns and operates Global Gas, a shipping company that carries a 23% share in petroleum operations in Matinloc Oilfield. In addition, Mr Martinez has been operating oil tankers, barges and various ships for several years in relation to the marketing and distribution of Nido and Matinloc Crude produced from marginal fields that had been locally sold to Caltex and Shell Philippines. He has to date sold and delivered close to 2 million barrels of such crudes to local refineries.
Aside from Mr Martinez's position in Global Gas, he is also the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Venturoil Philippines Inc. (www.venturoil.com). Mr Martinez's long experience in hauling refined petroleum products as well as the marketing and distribution of crude oil to local refineries in the Philippines gives Venturoil a superior competitive advantage over other E&P companies operating in the country. Mr Steven Lie has over 40 years experience in the marine and shipping industry working for various major players in the business such as AMOCO, UNOCAL and ONCG of India, to name but a few. Steven has been involved with the offtake and transport of the Nido and Matinloc crude since the early 2000s. Steven's expertise in the management and sourcing of vessels for such projects is second to none.
CARLOS ANCKERMANN, Director / Co-founder
Mr Carlos Anckermann is the legendary gentleman of the group. His experience in the business is nearly 5 decades (and still counting) and involves work with government agencies in the Philippines and various maritime concerns. His expertise and counsel is a source of pride for Global Gas and he is the company's elder statesman. Mr Anckerman has a degree in Economics from Collegio San Juan de Letran.
FEDERICO MARTINEZ, VP-Operations
Since August 2013, Mr Federico Martinez has been responsible for most of the day to day operations for Global Gas. As VP of Operations, Mr Martinez's responsibilities include management of vessel logistics, accounting and reporting and vessel coordination to maintain continuous lifting of the Nido and Matinloc crude. Previously, Mr Martinez has spent many years in the real estate industry, particularly in relation to project and construction management. Mr Martinez has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the De la Salle University (Philippines).
