Since 2000, the company’s main business partner is The Philodrill Corporation, Operator of Service Contract 14 (other partners in SC 14 include Nido Petroleum, Forum Energy, Oriental Petroleum and Basic Petroleum). Philodrill have participating interests in the Nido, Matinloc ands Galoc production licences, as well as the Bonita and Octon offshore oil field discoveries (all located in north western Palawan, Philippines).
Global Gas has, for almost twenty years, been handling the marine requirements of Philodrill for its off shore operations in Northwest Palawan, sub-contracted solely for the purpose of providing oil tankers, oil barges and supply & tugboats for use in the off-take and delivery of their crude oil production (specifically, from the Nido and Matinloc production fields).
In early 2000, Philodrill secured the services of Global Gas to assist them in search of a buyer for their crude oil production from Nido and the Matinloc. These 2 oil fields are about 30 KM apart and lie about 30KM from the shores of El Nido town, Palawan (40KM southeast of Shell’s Malampaya Gas Project, 60KM south of the oil-producing Galoc oil field and 220 KM from Batangas, Philippines – a supply hub). Global Gas’ core business is in the off-take and transport of the crude produced in these two (2) fields to Shell Philippines Refinery. This refinery has been a customer of Philodrill’s for over a decade.
